Convertiblecenter.fr is the result of the meeting between two men:

David, passionate about design, and Erik , who after a successful experience in furniture distribution, joined forces with a major Italian sofa manufacturer to create CONVERTIBLE CENTER.

Convertiblecenter.fr is the specialist in convertible sofas and “space-saving” furniture at factory prices on the Internet.
Indeed, our high quality products are offered to you at very attractive prices.

Our manufacturing experience is a guarantee of reliability for all our customers: you benefit from real know-how on the convertible sofa at factory prices .

Where are our products manufactured?

Our sofas are made in Europe and particularly in Italy , and you benefit from this.
Italy is known worldwide for its design, its expertise in furnishing and especially its sofas.
In addition, the Italians are world leaders in the production of EXPRESS mechanics .

Your mattress and box spring

Which mattress should you choose for your convertible?

For occasional use , such as hosting guests:

  • Choose a mattress with a density of 20 kg/m³ , included in the price of the convertible. It offers good comfort and a soft bed . (Guaranteed for 5 years)

For daily use by two people, with good support without too much firmness:

  • Choose a mattress with a density of 35 kg/m³ . This popular model ensures a soft and fluffy sleep . (5-year guarantee)

For daily use and in case of back problems or heavy build:

  • Adopt a mattress with a density of 40 kg/m³ to alleviate back pain. Its reinforced support guarantees a long life and optimal support with a firm bed . (Guaranteed for 5 years)

For daily/intensive use or if a very firm bed is required:

  • Select a mattress with a density of 55 kg/m³ . Durable and efficient, it distributes body weight well, reducing pressure points and ensuring restful sleep. (5-year warranty)
What is a High Resilience (HR) mattress?

(HR) : High Resilience Polyurethane foam

The resilience of a mattress is its ability to return to its original shape after being subjected to pressure (sitting and lying down for example).

The higher the density, the more your mattress will be able to preserve its original shape over time . By choosing a High Resilience mattress, you are guaranteed to have a durable and very comfortable mattress to use.

Metal base or slatted base?

For occasional use :

  • The electro-welded metal grid base will ensure you a soft and supple comfort . You therefore benefit from a perfect and constant quality of sleep over time, without the risk of hollowing.

For daily use :

  • The slatted base provides firmer support , is very solid and has excellent longevity. Reinforced , they will ensure you sleep like in a real bed.
Can I leave my duvet or sheets in the convertible?

Generally speaking, sofa beds are not designed to allow you to leave your duvet on them .

Indeed, due to its thickness , it could damage the mechanism of your magnificent convertible sofa in the long term. However, you can of course leave any other thin fabric there, such as your mattress protector, your fitted sheet, your daily sheets, or your small blanket .

The order

How can I find out about the availability of our items?

You can click on our " in stock " section to see the available products.

In stock , the product is in our warehouses and can be shipped :

  • Within 48 hours in Paris ( 75 ) or Île de France ( 77-78-91-92-93-94-95 ).

  • Within 8 to 10 days for other departments, Corsica, Belgium and Luxembourg.


In production : Sometimes the chosen model may not be in stock, we will manufacture it for you!

  • Upon receipt of your order, it will be sent to our production unit and will be manufactured within an average of 8 to 10 weeks.
Can I have a fabric sample before ordering?

We would be delighted to send you by post up to 4 fabric samples for the model of your choice! Simply indicate the names of the models and the colours that interest you, as well as your full contact details ( name , first name and postal address ) so that we can send them to you.

Can I choose my delivery date and slot when ordering?

When you place your order, we give you the opportunity to choose the desired delivery date from the calendar. One week before the requested delivery date, we will ship your order to the carrier responsible for delivering it to you and you will be notified by email.

Once your goods have arrived at our service provider's warehouse, they will contact you by text message or telephone to confirm the delivery date and time that you have previously indicated in your preferences.

Can I track the status of my order?

All our sofas are handmade , guaranteeing exceptional quality , which requires time on the part of our team .

Designing a sofa is broken down into six key stages , each lasting between 1 and 2 weeks :

  • Manufacturing the structure, adding the springs and foam, covering the cover, final assembly, quality control and finally packaging.

Puis-je payer en plusieurs fois ?

Vous pouvez payer en plusieurs fois sans frais 2, 3 ou 4 fois sans frais avec Alma. Le paiement se fait directement par carte bancaire. Des vérifications d'identité ou de compte bancaire peuvent être demandé.

Vous pouvez aussi payer à crédit de 12 à 36 mois avec Younited Pay. Une fois que vous avez terminé votre commande sur le site, il vous faudra sélectionné Younited Pay comme moyen de paiement, vous serez alors redirigé sur le parcours de souscription de crédit.

Deliveries

How does delivery work?

Delivery with installation: Two delivery men install your order at home, take back the packaging and deliver the sofa beds in two packages (separate sofa and armrests). For mainland islands (excluding Corsica), delivery is made to the ferry terminal. Beyond the 5th floor, a supplement of €30 per floor is payable.

Delivery without installation: Two delivery men will take care of clearing away your old sofa, then install your new order in the room of your choice, also taking back the packaging. Important: the request to take back your old sofa must be made at the time of ordering (charged €50).

Delivery with installation and collection: Your order will be delivered to the foot of the truck. You will then have to take care of collecting your packages. We recommend that you carefully check the number of packages delivered as well as the condition of the packaging before signing the delivery note. No products will be taken upstairs or unpacked in your home.

Will your sofa bed fit through your doors?

The convertible sofas arrive in 3 packages : the sofa , its armrests and the mattress vacuum-rolled in a cardboard box, to facilitate its passage and installation.

Package dimensions:

  • For a 120 bed with packaging: L 150 x H 90 x D 97
  • For a 140 bed with packaging: L 170 x H 90 x D 97
  • For a 160 bed with packaging: L 190 x H 90 x D 97

Once unpacked, remove 5cm from each package.

In case of narrow passage , the sofa will have to be unpacked and placed in a vertical position so as to first pass the seat and then the backrest . All our sofas can be dismantled but our service providers in the provinces are not authorized to do this.

What happens if I am not there when my delivery is made?

The carrier will contact you shortly to arrange a new delivery date .

However, we would like to inform you that an additional fee of €120 will be applied for this reorganization.

These fees cover the costs associated with logistics management and reallocation of resources needed to ensure the new delivery.

Do you want to postpone your delivery? / Work not completed?

It is imperative to inform us of any changes at least 10 days before the initially planned delivery date.

This delay is necessary to allow us to efficiently reorganize our logistics schedule and to guarantee that your new delivery takes place in the best conditions.

Any request made after this deadline may not be able to be taken into account without additional costs .

Returns and after-sales service

Can I make a return?

We understand that buying a sofa bed or furniture online can be difficult, doubt is part of life!
This is why you benefit from a 14-day money-back trial from the date of receipt.
If the product does not suit you or you change your mind, contact us here to arrange its return.

The product must be returned without signs of wear . The refund will be made after recovery and verification , excluding return costs which remain your responsibility. This period may be extended if the return takes longer.

You must provide us with your purchase order or proof of purchase , your first and last name , photos of the damaged parts or the problem encountered. So describe to us what happened.
